トヨタ、インドネシアで低価格・低燃費車「アギア」の販売を開始
ダイハツとの協業で新たな市場を開拓



　トヨタ自動車（株）（以下、トヨタ）のインドネシアにおける車両販売会社であるトヨタ・アストラ・モーター（PT．Toyota　Astra　Motor、以下TAM）は、本日、インドネシアにおいて、新型車「アギア（AGYA）（※１）」の販売を開始した。

　販売価格は、９９百万ルピア（約８５万円）～１２０百万ルピア（約１０３万円）（※２）で、２０１３年月販目標台数は、５，０００台。本日、ジャカルタ市内で行われた記者発表会に出席したTAMのジョニー社長は「本日、アギアを販売開始することができ、大変うれしく思う。インドネシアのお客様のニーズを徹底追及したクルマであるアギアが、インドネシアのお客様の注目の的となると信じている」と語った。

　「アギア」は、ダイハツ工業株式会社（以下、ダイハツ）が企画・開発したモデルであり、ダイハツのインドネシアにおける車両生産会社であるアストラ・ダイハツ・モーター（PT．Astra　Daihatsu　Motor、以下ADM）で生産し、TAMがトヨタブランドで販売する。ダイハツブランドである「アイラ（AYLA）」も、本日、ダイハツの車両販売会社であるアストラ・インターナショナル（Astra　International）より販売を開始した。

　低価格と低燃費を実現した「アギア」「アイラ」は、インドネシア政府が制定したLCGC（Low　Cost　Green　Car）政策（※３）初の認定車となる。

　これまでもトヨタは、ダイハツとの協業で、「アバンザ」（ダイハツブランド名：「セニア」）など，インドネシアのお客様のニーズに合わせたクルマを提供してきた。「アギア」「アイラ」も、エントリーユーザー向けのファミリーカーとして、インドネシアの新たな市場の開拓を目指す。

　今後も、トヨタは、グループ会社とともに、インドネシアにおける自動車産業の発展に向け尽力するとともに、インドネシアのお客様にご満足いただける商品を展開していく。

　※１：古代インドネシア語で「Fast（速い）」の意味。
　※２：１ルピア＝０．００８５２４円換算（９月６日為替レート）
　※３：低価格で燃費が良いクルマの普及を促進する政策。認定車には、税制上の優遇措置が与えられる。
