Arlington Heights Appliance Repair Man was Named Mr. Fix-It® by the Chicago Tribune

CHICAGO -- Arlington Heights, IL – Certified Service Manager and owner of AAA Appliance Service Center, James Dolbeare is a media personality known as Mr. Fix-It® for his expertise in appliance repair.  The name was originally bestowed on him by the Chicago Tribune in the early 1990’s.

The Arlington Heights appliance repair man was prominently featured as an industry expert in the national PBS television broadcast, “Ozone:  The Hole Story,” now regularly seen in high school science classes across the nation.  As an expert refrigeration repair, Dolbeare explained the new EPA requirement and standards.

Mr. Fix-It® has worked behind the scenes to help create special effects in many popular movies, like “Return to Me”, “Groundhog Day”, and “Home Alone.”  In the movie, “Uncle Buck,” he was called upon to rig the microwave to explode.  As an expert in repairing antique appliances, Mr. Fix-It® and AAA Appliance Service Center (http://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.appliancerepairarl...) was featured on TLC’s Pawn Queens.

James Dolbeare is an industry expert in appliance repair.  As Mr. Fix-It®, he writes and speaks on all matters relevant to repairing appliances, financial and service management, business and security, logistics and technical training, antique ranges and much more.  Mr. Fix-It® is featured regularly in the Tribune, Sun-Times, Daily Herald and a variety of trade publications.

James Dolbeare has many great qualifications in the appliance service industry including a Certified Service Manager and Certified Appliance Technician.  He holds a degree in psychology and political science and as Mr. Fix-It®, sits on the college of DuPage’s Technical Advisory Board for DAVEA.  He is also a member of the United Servicers Association Industry Relations Commission and the Appliance consumer Services Task Force.

James Dolbeare is active in his community as a planning commissioner for the Village of Schaumburg, a past chairman of the Government Affairs Committee at the Northwest Suburban Association of Commerce and Industry (NSACI), and a founding member of the Schaumburg Business Association.  Also known as Mr. Fix-It® Dolbeare is a regular trainer and speaker for the North American Retail Dealers Association (NARDA), the United Servicers Association (USA), and the Commercial Food Equipment Servicers Association (CFESA).
