Dual Birthdays Benefited Charity at 2nd Annual 12/12 Party “A Sparkling Affair”
The December 12th birthdays of Gregory Brown and Christina Martin were celebrated with a sparkling-themed event inside the Gibson Guitars and Baldwin Pianos private showroom. Guests arrived “sparkling” in many unique ways—from body glitter and Christmas tinsel to Michael Jackson gloves, fine diamonds and sapphires. “A Sparkling Affair” drew together a rich cast of characters—both members of “Glee” and members of “Slayer” in the room. The hundreds of VIP guests spanned corporate CEOs, major record labels, bankers, attorneys, politicians, actors, top-tier managers and celebrities. Indeed, Christina and Gregory are both known for actively maintaining vast circles of friendships among dynamic people and companies across the globe.
Chief of Staff of Los Angeles City Council District 5, Joan Pelico, arrived with a certificate from Councilman Paul Koretz and Mayor Eric Garcetti, officially wishing a Happy Birthday to Christina on behalf of the city.
Inside the event, Matt’s Munchies sampled premium fruit snacks while Lashfully provided complimentary applications of glam lashes. Dapper gifted celebrities with designer hand-made ties and accessories. Body Shots Tequila and Boomerang Bay mixers hosted an exciting tequila bar. Crystal Creations’ stunning ice sculpture was a giant “12/12” and allowed guests to pour Tito’s vodka through the ice luge. Royal Red Velvet provided desserts and displayed a cupcake tower at the center of the room and beautiful flowers arrangements sparkled from Empty Vase LA.
Adding to the festivities, a silent auction benefited charity. Donors to the silent auction included Montage of Beverly Hills, Kent Denim, TITLE Boxing, Beverly Hills Luncheon Circle, S Factor Studio, Reed’s, Affliction, Fireball Whiskey, Fog’s End Distillery, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, Infusion Hot Sauce, Justin’s, K1 Speed, Killer Concepts Blue Tooth Speakers, Lagunitas Brewing Co., Luichiny, Lnzy Rose, Pearl’s on Sunset, Sun Studio LA, Tippmann Sports, TYKU Sake, Yak Pak, and Hoodie Buddie.
Touring 7 years with famous bands, Backstage Artist Lounge was a huge force behind making this event happen, so 12/12 featured many “on- tour” favorites including Forget Hangovers, Luichiny Shoes, Testosterone Shoes, Justin’s, Kabang Energy Candy, Revolver Electronic Cigarettes, Fairytale Brownies, Tattoo Sales and Man Stuff. Mama Chia, Krave Jerky, Zenify, Hubert’s Lemonade, Pop Chips and Bloomfield vineyards also supported the event.
12/12 party epitomized a successful celebration. Christina Martin wore a sparkling dress by Shail K., lashes by Lashfully on Rodeo, and diamond jewelry by Alberto Parada.
