When helping a custo

When helping a customer choose a bandsaw machine, we have nailed this down to a series of questions. What type of material(s) will they be cutting? What is the largest diameter they will cut? What is the max width they will cut? What is the max height they will cut?Do they have a straightness tolerance for the cut? What angles, if any, will they need to cut, and how often.Do they need a nice finish from the cut or can it be rough or can it be sanded after?Do they want to pay for an automatic feed? The answers to the questions will determine: import or made in USA, horizontal or vertical, machine size, cold saw or the bandsaw blade type, straight saw with swivel vise or mitering head, tilt frame or double column, manual vise or pneumatic vise, manual feed or auto-indexing feed, etc.

That's really shrewd

That's really shrewd! Good to see the logic set out so well.

Gosh, I wish I would

Gosh, I wish I would have had that information earlier!

New Lower Cost Carbide-Tipped Hot Tap Pilots

August 30, 2013 - PipeMan Products, Inc. of Concord, CA is proud to announce the availability of two new lower cost TapMaster™ Carbide-Tipped Hot Tap Pilots with Dual Retention Wires. They are available in two different diameters, 3/8” diameters and 1/2” diameters with overall lengths of 4-1/4”, 5.0” and 6.0”. These newly designed hot tap pilots have been structured to capture the “coupon” when hot tapping so the metal or plastic coupon when cut out doesn’t drop down into the pipe and block the flow of water or other materials. Our hot tap pilot drills come with dual wires so you are essentially assured of removing the coupon for inspection by your customer and/or inspector. The new “No Flute” design, has a lower cost, yet provides a stronger unit where breakage is virtually eliminated.

PipeMan Products has been serving the PHCC, Waterworks, HVAC and Pipeline worlds since 2001. They offer “Innovative Plumbing Solutions” that meet the demanding need for superior products for service industries that perform hot tapping, line stopping, pipe freezing and commercial pipe repair. They can be contacted at: PipeMan Products, Inc., 1647 Willow Pass Rd., #240, Concord, CA 94520 TF: (877)747-3626
