         With its two-level driving range already remodeled, the club’s18-hole, 6,300-yard layout will remain open during the $1 million-plusrenovation now focused on the clubhouse with its restaurant/bar, lake-view terrace, pro shop and two ballrooms. Work on the golf and entertainment club will began this month, and is scheduled for completion by December 2013.

         The newly completed driving range renovation includes new grass, balls, mats, equipment, deck, retaining wall and lighting, as well as a new range office.

         “Westridge Golf Club has been a cornerstone of La Habra since 1990,” said Manarino Sports & Entertainment President and Westridge Golf Club General Manager James Manarino.  “The renovation will cater to our local clientele of many years, international and U.S. golfers familiar with the terrific year-round golf environment here, and to all the newcomers looking for a first class golf, social and entertainment experience.”

         “Our major improvements will create more of a private club atmosphere with desirable amenities, service, ambiance and stylish, comfortable décor,” said Manarino, who took over management of the club in October 2012.  “Golfers,  diners, families, friends, sports fans  – everyone will feel welcomed,” he said.

         Since founding Westridge Golf Club in 1990, the owners have always prided themselves on service, the club’s positive impact on La Habra, and Westridge’s popularity in the world golf.
