Chaparral Arts Presents “A Christmas World Tour “with Henry and Maria Flurry of Sticks and Tones

Sticks and Tones takes families on a musical tour of Christmas around the world Saturday, December 21 at 4:00 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 630 Park Avenue, Prescott. The whole family will experience celebrations of Christmas in countries around the globe as they sing, laugh, and play a variety of instruments during this festive program.  Proceeds from the concert benefit Chaparral Arts’ summer music workshop scholarships for children.

"A Christmas World Tour," features familiar and fascinating rare songs and stories fromall the continents except, of course, Antarctica. As in every Sticks and Tones family event, the audience is part of the show by singing along, playing percussion instruments, and generally having a good time. There will be an afterglow with doughnuts and cider and a chance to sing other carols and greet new faces and old friends.

Languages featured include Spanish, German, American Sign Language, and Japanese. Bring your jingle bells to join in on the sing-a-longs!  Songs include Silent Night (Germany), Carol of the Bells (Ukraine), Nutcracker (Russia), Bonse Aba (Zambia), Deck the Halls, Joy to the World, Jingle Bells, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and more!

Henry and Maria Flurry, founders of Sticks and Tones, are members of the juried list of Roster Artists of the Arizona Commission on the Arts. Sticks and Tones is based in Prescott, Arizona.
