Easter Seals Hires Vivian Miller as Vice President, Quality Management
Easter Seals Serving DC I MD I VA has hired Vivian Miller as Vice President, Quality Management, where she is responsible for driving continuous improvement and enhancing program quality, as well as overseeing all risk identification and assessment activities.

Vivian brings the right mix of deep experience and vision to the position, and she is committed to ensuring that Easter Seals continues its record of achieving excellence in program and service delivery through use of widely accepted best practices,” says Lisa Reeves, President & CEO of Easter Seals Serving DC I MD I VA.
Ms. Miller is the Past President of the MD Association of Health Quality and is a member and past President of the MD-DC Society of Healthcare Risk Management. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Science and Policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and is pursuing a Master’s in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration from the University of MD.
Additionally, she is a Florida licensed healthcare risk manager, a certified professional in both quality and risk management, and is a Fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. Her past experience includes serving as staff liaison for the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management's 2030 Fund Advisory Council, the Federal Legislative Advisory Council, and the Joint Commission Task Force.
Ms. Miller’s other accomplishments include having served as an adjunct professor for the Allied Health Division of Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, MD. She has written and published articles relating to risk financing and claims management, as well as a book entitled “Creating a Just Culture: A Nurse Leader’s Guide” that serves as a nurse's "how to" guide toward developing a just culture within a healthcare organization. Ms. Miller is a recognized author and speaker on topics such as patient safety, the use of data to promote risk and safety management programs, and programs for preventing patient harm and reducing potential financial risk exposures for healthcare organizations.
