Entrepreneurs Organization to Host EO Alchemy in San Francisco
EO Alchemy will bring over 300 entrepreneurs to San Francisco October 16-19 from all over the Western United States. In its 3rd year, EO Alchemy is being hosted by the San Francisco and Silicon Valley chapters of the international Entrepreneurs Organization (EO -- www.SFEO.net). This year’s EO Alchemy is completely fresh. All speakers are new to EO and all are locally sourced and grown. Alchemy’s opening keynote is to be given by Steve Young, a local legend and entrepreneur.
EO Alchemy SF 2013 boasts an exclusive list of internationally renowned speakers, including Steve Young, Guy Kawasaki and George Zimmer. EO Alchemy will also include mind bending breakout sessions with people like Dean Biersch, co-founder of Gordon Biersch and currently of Hopmonk Tavern, Darren Hicks, a decorated former SEAL and EO SF member, and Bill Schlough, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the San Francisco Giants.

In addition to providing great learning and networking opportunities, EO Alchemy will be hosting the regional Global Student Entrepreneur Awards on the opening day, where students will compete to win a shot at going head to head against the best student entrepreneurs in the world at the Global Finals in Washington, DC. In Washington, they will compete to win a US$10,000 cash prize, plus tens of thousands in business products and services donated by EO members.
EO Alchemy brings together the “best of the best” formats from other conferences such as TED, The Milken Conference and The Clinton Global Initiative to create a fast paced, information packed experience to help entrepreneurs build better businesses, and by extension, a better society.
EO Alchemy began in Los Angeles in 2011, introducing speakers to EO like Magic Johnson, Gray Davis and Biz Stone. In 2012, EO Alchemy was hosted by the Seattle chapter of EO and featured Michael Gerber, John O’Leary and Jeff Hoffman. In 2014, EO Alchemy will move to Las Vegas.
