Pan American names new CEO and President for airline

Pan American Airways Global today announced that Mark Vance will join the Company as CEO and President of Pan Am Airways effective immediately. In assuming these positions, Vance will also assume an active voice on the Pan American Airways Global Board of Directors while serving as a lead independent executive for the new airline.
Vance’s appointment is another step towards the goal of making the Pan Am Airways a viable, strong and independent business for the 21st century. Vance and the core cadre of executive management will be based at Pan American’s headquarters in Manhattan, New York.
Vance comes to Pan American with a wealth of relevant airline and managerial experience. Vance previously served as CEO of INFINITE ENERGY and The Air Commerce Institute, and subsequently served in key operational roles while employed at US Airways and Piedmont Airlines.

Pan American also announced the addition of new senior officers for Pan American Airway’s commercial team among other changes in the executive leadership.
Michael Cronin has joined Pan American as General Counsel for the corporation. Cronin will work closely with Vance and Pan American’s Board in achieving Pan American‘s industry independence, as well as defining opportunities to ensure stability and growth for the Company.
James Marshall has been promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer for Pan American Airways Global and will have responsibility for all operational activities concerning the cadre of products and services for Pan American Airway’s global brand definition. Marshall, a 25 year veteran of Pan American joined the driving force of the holding company as Vice President of Operations and Planning in 2012.
