#ClassroomRemix Relaunches, Gives $1000 a Month to Oklahoma Classrooms in Need
Community Care College (CCC), Clary Sage College (CSC) and Oklahoma Technical College (OTC) are gearing up to relaunch #ClassroomRemix, a social media contest that grants Oklahoma high school classrooms in need a $1000 donation.
“We’re so excited to be able to continue giving back to Oklahoma schools,” said Rebecca Banuelos, Director of Marketing at the college “With budgets being cut, we know this is something the teachers really need.”
The contest, which first launched at the end of last school year and saw winners from Bixby and Glenpool, kicks off again September 1st and will be run entirely on social media.
Students and teachers as well as school staff and even parents can throw a worthy classroom’s name into the hat by taking a picture of the class in need and sending it to the colleges on twitter (@commcarecollege, @clarysage3131, @oktechcollege) using the hashtag #ClassroomRemix.
A new classroom will be selected each month during the school year to receive a $1,000 donation for new supplies, a makeover, or whatever it may be lacking. Full contest details are available on okclassroom.com.
