Hino Motors opens 5,400 sqm parts depot at Logistics District of Dubai World Central

- [UAE, December 15, 2013] Dubai World Central (DWC), the world’s first purpose-built aerotropolis, has announced that Hino Motors Limited, one of the largest truck and bus manufacturers in the world, has opened a new parts facility at the Logistics District. Spread over 5,400 sqm, Hino Motors Middle East Parts Depot (HMMED) will cater to Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) to shorten delivery times and reduce logistics costs considerably.

The new parts depot at DWC will be Hino Motors third spare part depot after USA and Belgium. Prior to the new depot, the company used to supply spare parts to the GCC market from its Belgium depot which was serving the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The new facility at DWC will enable Hino Motors to supply spare parts and other units directly from their manufacturing unit in Japan for delivery to the GCC market, creating a huge impact on customer satisfaction.

Mohsen Ahmad, Vice President – Logistics District, Dubai World Central, said: “Dubai World Central is a fully integrated development offering state-of-the art facilities for trade and logistics companies. The new warehouse for Hino Motors offers the strategic advantages of our location along with facilities such as multimodal transport, fast-cycle logistics environment, and proximity to Al Maktoum International Airport and Jebel Ali Sea Port through a dedicated logistics corridor which will significantly benefit the company.”

“Further, the new depot will cater the GCC as opposed to the traditional setup of serving the region from the EMEA Regional Distribution Centers (RDC), mostly located in Europe. The move is also in line with DWC’s strategy of convincing more and more EMEA RDC operators to reconsider their supply chain network, by using Dubai as a hub not only for the GCC but rather to a much larger region of the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA)”; he added

The opening of the new depot at DWC is in response to the growing sales for Hino Motors in the Middle East which has become an important market for the company. The company will further enhance its reliability, expand the sales of its vehicles and improve customer satisfaction by strengthening its after-sales service through HMMED.

Hino Motors Limited is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation. It was founded in 1910 and was established as a separate company in 1942. The company has a rich history in the automotive industry and is one of the largest manufacturer of trucks and buses in Japan. Hino Motors manufactures trucks and buses, commercial vehicles and passenger cars for Toyota, automotive and industrial diesel engines, and vehicle parts.

Excello Law plans global expansion after Sweden launch

As we enter the holiday season, I'm Not a Monster asks the communities to join a worthwhile cause: “Monster” Holiday Drive™ campaign—a nationwide annual shelter drive benefiting homeless pets waiting in shelters and temporary boarding facilities.

The “Monster” Holiday Drive is in its second year and is entirely volunteer-driven. “We have 34 “Monster” Elves supporting 50 shelters and rescues. Boats were docked and filled with small tailgating parties while others tailgated in the streets waiting for the show to begin, as the parade is one of the most anticipated events on Lake Santa Barbara.

This year was Zakeya's first time attending the event and her experience was that much better as she celebrated with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority as they capped their 100-year Centennial Celebration in the Winterfest Boat Parade. "The weather was perfect, the food was great, and the music was phenomenal," says Zakeya. "I've watched this parade for years on television, but I've never experienced it live. Never in a million years did I think my first opportunity to see the Winterfest Boat Parade would be with me actually being a part of it. This was a spectacular event!" Being that this was the first time that any Greek Sorority or Fraternity had ever participated in the parade, the Delta's made history as their boat sailed Lake Santa Barbara and Zakeya got to witness firsthand just what this celebration meant their Sorority.

Throwaway? No Way. Bright, Colorful Poinsettias Can Beautify Households During and After Holidays

Planning to discard your poinsettias after the holidays? Think again. The bright, colorful flower can continue to thrive long after Christmas is past, and even be conditioned to bloom again for Christmas 2014.

“It’s a shame that most people throw away poinsettias when the holidays are over. These beautiful, adaptable plants have a lot of life left,” said Denise Barnett, co-owner of Snapdragon Flowers of Elm Grove. “At the very least, a poinsettia’s vibrant colors can be enjoyed into February if the plant is cared for.”

With some love, diligence and darkness, she added, a poinsettia can burst into bloom again next Christmas season. Given how a poinsettia grows and spreads, the flowers might be even bigger and brighter.

Buying a healthy poinsettia is the first step. Plants with dried-up leaves should be avoided. The poinsettia’s flower petals – the yellow, red and orange spires inside the red leaves – should be bright and firm. If powdery or dry, the plant is past its prime, Barnett explained.

Poinsettias thrive in sunlight, but not direct light. They are sensitive to cold and overwatering. If a poinsettia (http://www.elmgroveflowershop.com/product.php?productid=1...) pot is wrapped in decorative foil, the covering should be removed to drain water, Barnett said. Maintaining moist soil is ideal; excess water harms the plant. Speaking of which, poinsettias are not dangerous, either.

“Contrary to a long-held myth, poinsettias are not poisonous,” Barnett said. “Your dog or cat might get sick from eating them, as with any plant. They won’t die, though.”

The bracts, or red leaves, will begin to reappear. The darkness treatment can be ended. The poinsettia is on its way to becoming a bright beacon of joy and color for the holidays – ready to be enjoyed all over again.

Responsibility.

The holder of a property acquired through a Certificate of Title in accordance with Chapter 45, Florida Statutes is responsible for obtainning the certificate of use and only the properties located in unincorporated Dade County (properties with folio numbers beginning with 30) and acquired prior December 12, 2008 are affected. Properties acquired through Deed in lieu are not affeted.

The CU report should be provided at the time of closing by the responsible entities and is available to the potential buyer through the Clerk of the Courts.

Violation found in the disclosure and findings report has will be referred to the appropriate department, Building or Office of Neighborhood Compliance (ONC). The Ordinance requires that violations be referred to the applicable County agencies. If code enforcement action is initiated and the property continues to be in violation of the code, fines may be levied only after the warning/citation and hearing/appeals processes have been completed.

The owner of the property during any time that the violation exists is responsible to the County to remedy the code violations. As such, the buyer and seller will ultimately be legally responsible for repairs unless the repairs are made before the closing. However the seller and the buyer can decide between themselves as part of the sales contract who will be responsible for the repairs.

The responsible party may choose to have an architect or engineer prepare a report that certifies the completion of repairs and subsequently submit that report for recordation. They may also choose to record a statement from a contractor that all identified repairs have been made.

“Recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) alerted consumers to possible health hazards resulting from dirty room humidifiers,”reports Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates, the company behind the IAQ Video Network and the new public outreach video.  “The agency found that bacteria and fungi often grow in the tanks of portable and console room humidifiers and can be released in the mist. Palm Beach Outlets Announces Job Fair at Northwood University on January 9, 2014

On January 9, 2014 Palm Beach Outlets will host a Job Fair at Northwood University in West Palm Beach. Retailers will be on hand to interview candidates who are seeking positions ranging from sales associates to management.

Over 100 stores will be hiring at the new outlet center.  Some of the stores participating in the job fair include, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, J.Crew | Crewcuts Factory, Tommy Hilfiger Company Store, Aerosoles, Gap Factory Store, Rawlings Sporting Goods, Destination Maternity and more.

Palm Beach Outlets and Northwood University collaborated for the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the campus of Northwood University at the Countess de Hoernle Student Life Center located at 2600 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, 33409.
